About

Adam Mach is a Prague and Bratislava based cinematographer. Born in 1992. Studied at FAMU Prague.

In 2016 his short film The Fear was awarded a price for best cinematography in a short film at 4th AFC Caméflex Paris, France  and also at 8th IFF Ostrava Kamera Oko, Czech Republic. In 2017 Atlantis, 2003 was awarded for best cinematography at Acko student film festival. In 2018, The Truck was awarded for best cinematography in a short film by The Association of Czech Cinematographers. Suspicion had the best cinematography in czech TV series in 2022 according to the Czech society of cinematographers (AČK).

Feature films, TV Series and short films Adam has worked on as DOP, were screened at many international festivals like Cannes Film Festival, Berlinale, Venice FF, Toronto TIFF, San Sebastian IFF, Busan IFF, Karlovy Vary IFF, Warsaw IFF, Art Film Fest Kosice, Vilnius IFF, Poitiers FF, Festival Premiers plans d'Angers, Ji.hlava, Kyiv International Film Festival, Festival Caminhos Cinema and others.

Adam is a member of BLOK_4 collective, interested in light in its all forms.
